Tim Mason President, Chief Operating Officer Dream career: professional bass fisherman on the Bassmaster Tour Nine years ago Tim Mason became the first employee of Selkowitz Inc. Today, his name shares the marquee with founder Donn Selkowitz. After receiving his bachelors degree in mass communications from St. Bonaventure University, Tim began his career at ICE Communications. There, as Vice President, Account Group Supervisor on the Bausch & Lomb account, he developed his unique client-centric approach to marketing that is now a key platform of our MSM philosophy. He coaches both of his sons' CYO basketball teams, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Monroe County Special Olympics. In 1999 he was named one of Rochesters 40 under 40 for significant corporate and civic contributions to the city. In his (sparse) free time, hes made his wife into a rabid Buffalo Bills fan. (She already misses Doug Flutie dearly.)
Donn Selkowitz Chief Executive Officer Favorite quote: a pencil with no point needs no eraser. Along with a talent for pithy aphorisms, Donns entrepreneurial expertise inspired the growth of MSM from a one-man business-in-a-basement to its current size and prestige. Donn spent many years in the agency business and working the client side, after beginning careers in cable TV and radio following graduation from Penn State in 1972. Starting as a writer, he became a creative supervisor, account manager, and ad director at various stops including Northrup & Teel, Rochester Community Savings Bank, City Mattress and Signfics. As COO and CEO of MSM, Donns keen ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and get to the heart of a communications problem are important factors in the success and growth of MSM. |
